Pool Noodle 10-Frame

This was a huge hit at the pool! The kids were counting together, adding, and inventing creative games.
Our daughter probably doesn’t know what it means to decompose and compose numbers, but she naturally recognized that the frame organized 10 balls into 7 and 3.
DIY Tips:
Pool noodles are surprisingly easy to work with! I used a basic serrated kitchen knife to cut the pieces to size (3 long pieces and 12 short ones). Using a pencil, I poked holes in the three long pieces and threaded everything together with macrame cord.
